The participants stated that Leposavic municipality has the greatest potential for agriculture and that it is a priority economic branch to be developed. However, like in other municipalities in North Kosovo, farmers face a number of problems, ranging from complicated administrative procedures when registering farms, to the exercise of the right to use subsidies. In addition, it was pointed out that donor assistance to the private sector has been significant in recent years, but that efficiency is low. Also, it was noted that there was a great discrepancy between the needs of the labour market and educational profiles in this municipality.

The discussion was organised as a round table and a part of the project "Analysis of economy in North Kosovo after the Brussels Agreement – where are employment opportunities?", Implemented by InTER and Radio Television Mir, with the support of the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society.
