Support for Civil Society Organizations in Monitoring and Transparency of the Serbia-Kosovo Dialogue

sblogo.jpg The Institute for Territorial Economic Development (InTER) is launching the project Support for Civil Society Organizations in Monitoring and Transparency of the Serbia-Kosovo Dialogue, funded by the regional program SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans. The project aims to contribute to Serbia’s European integration process by strengthening the role of civil society in decision-making and enhancing dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, with a particular focus on Chapter 35.

Through the project, InTER will work on building the capacity of civil society organizations for active participation in decision-making and monitoring the implementation of Chapter 35 obligations, improving cooperation and dialogue between civil society organizations, decision-makers, and international actors in the negotiation process on normalizing relations between Belgrade and Pristina, as well as raising public awareness about Serbia’s EU accession process.

The project will be implemented in seven months, starting from 1 March 2025, with a total budget of NOK 249,241.50.

Expected results include strengthening civil society organizations, enhancing dialogue between civil society and decision-makers, and disseminating relevant information about the negotiation process between Belgrade and Pristina.
