NCEU WG for Chapter 35 presents results of the new analysis

Screen_Shot_2021_03_25_at_5_17_07_PM.png Today, the working group of the National Convention on the EU for Chapter 35 organized a webinar "What do we really want? – Views of Serbian Citizens on the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue”, where the key findings were presented of the analysis of Serbian citizens' views on the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, implemented by researchers from the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP) and the Centre for Social Dialogue and Regional Initiatives (CDDRI).

Within the first panel of the webinar, researchers Milan Krstic and Bojan Elek, analyzing more than 30 relevant public opinion polls from 2013 to 2020, reviewed the views of Serbian citizens about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and finding a compromise solution for the Kosovo issue. Izabela Kisić from the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Serbia discussed the results of the research and gave her view on the process of dialogue and normalization of relations.

In the second panel, researchers from the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy, Maja Bjelos and Luka Steric, presented the results of the analysis of the views of Serbian and Kosovo citizens on security threats, progress in the European integration process, as well as regional relations.

The event was moderated by Sanja Sovrlic, N1 journalist and Nikola Burazer from the Centre for Contemporary Politics.

The analysis and webinar are part of the project "National Convention on the European Union 2020/2021, Chapter 35: Other Issues - Kosovo" implemented by InTER with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway and the Balkan Trust for Democracy (BTD).
