InTER's new partner in the implementation of the project "Climbing on Berim Rocks - Dare to Imagine"

On Wednesday, July 29, 2015 InTER signed a contract with Empower Private Sector Kosovo which ensured another partner in the implementation of the project "Climbing on Berim Rocks - Dare to Imagine". This contract provides funds for procurement of 20 sets of climbing equipment which is necessary for the use of new tourism products: Via Ferrata and a sport climbing rock.

The project "Climbing on Berim Rocks - Dare to Imagine" is financed by the Embassy of Finland, and implemented by InTER, in cooperation with the Municipality of Zubin Potok and the NGO Outdoor In. The project is also supported by PPSE Program Swisscontact that provided professional assistance in the construction of Via Ferrata. The following activities are planned within the project:
- Construction of Via Ferrata on Berim;
- Preparing of Berim rocks for climbing in at least 10 directions;
- Purchase of necessary climbing equipment;
- Construction of the logistic camp;
- Training of 20 people for tourist guides on Via Ferrata;
- Promotion of tourism products.

Project implementation started on March 1, 2015 and it will be finished in the period of 10 months, until December 31, 2015.
