InTER participated at the School on Security Policy in Bar

12002440_746791072116359_8188257425847929871_o.jpg Within the three-year project Security Research Forum: Belgrade-Pristina-Tirana, the School on Security Policy was organized in Bar, Montenegro on September 14-18. The project is financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and jointly implemented by the Belgrade Center for Security Policy (BCSP), Kosovar Center for Security Studies (KCSS) and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM).

The seminar gathered 20 participants from Serbia, Albania and Kosovo, which included a representative from InTER.

The School on Security Policy is organized with the goal to build the capacity of people from the region to be involved in the security policy, to establish better links between Serbian and Albanian people, to jointly identify security issues caused by numerous conflicts and find possible solutions in order to establish regional cooperation.

The seminar included sessions on the Security concept, Security reforms and Regional security complex, three panels on violent extremism, enforcement of the Brussels Agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, and regional security challenges. Workshops were also organized for participants.
