OSCE's seminar on legislation for non-governmental organisations

12309017_10208250282243628_1615733978_n.jpg Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Mission in Kosovo has organised a seminar on development of legislation for non-governmental organisations (NGOs), with two representatives from InTER as participants. The seminar was organised on November 24-27, in Hotel “Podgorica”, in Podgorica, Montenegro.

The purpose of this seminar is to provide the methodology to NGOs for development of effective comments and thus assist them in participating in the realisation of changes in legislation.  

The seminar is provided by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo and the Legal Office within the Office of the Prime Minister. The seminar included the following topics: developing legal procedures in Kosovo, hierarchy of norms, ways to write comments to influence the outcome of a legislative document, and advocacy for inclusion of comments in legislative documents. Training methods were interactive and they were partly implemented in working groups.
