Support to Progress Monitoring in Chapter 35

In the period between September 2023 and February 2024, InTER is implementing the project “Support for Progress Monitoring in Chapter 35”, financially supported  by Sweden within the Belgrade Open School’s program “Civil Society Advancing Serbia's EU Accession Process – Europe ASAP”. Overall objective of the project is to contribute to Serbia’s EU accession, development of democratic practice by strengthening the capacity of CSOs for further work in reform processes and through strategic dialogue with decision makers. The project will strive to contribute to the process of Serbia’s EU integration by strengthening the capacity of CSOs, and primarily the NCEU Working Group for Chapter 35, in terms of providing support in the reform processes, as well as encouraging the thematic debate between the representatives of state administration, civil society organisations (CSOs), experts, businesses, trade unions, and other stakeholders. The project is a continuation of previous interventions, and it includes analytical support, dialogue promotion, and active participation of CSOs in the process of support to negotiations between Belgrade and Priština. In this project, WG will pay special attention to organising meetings with stakeholders and journalists, and presenting the key findings of the conducted analysis. The project also includes the continuation of the newsletter where relevant stakeholders will publish their opinions and positions in terms of normalisation of relations between Belgrade and Priština and the solution of the issue of Kosovo.
